Account E-Mail Changed By A Mod Who Got Scammed...

So my friend just sent me an invite to this server which claims to give out free nitro. I know these server are mostly scams but my friend pleaded me to join so I joined. When checking one of the channels I found out one of the mods got scammed by a user, i.e. The mod gifted him nitro and then the person left the server. Soon after this the mod said he'll be cancelling the persons nitro. But he also mentioned that he changed the accounts E-Mail... I just wanted to ask if this is possible and legal by any means? Like they could've just canceled their nitro. So I just wanted to know if what the the person did was possible? I Have screenshots. (Sorry they might not be in order) It'd Be great if you could do something about people like these. I'm not sure if this is real or if he's doing this to threaten members.
