Make it so that chargebacks only remove Nitro, not disable the account
On Christmas day Discord automatically charged my guardian's bank account for Nitro because they signed up to pay for it every year. They forgot they had signed me up for yearly nitro payments, and they decided to issue a chargeback on the payment without telling me. 3 days ago, I woke up to find my account completely disabled, and with me unable to contact any of my friends, family, or college professors. I made this alternate account and rejoined some of the servers I was on, but I own many of those servers, and until I get my account back, I cannot moderate on those servers. Additionally, I have a Discord bot that is on over 3k servers that I am also unable to manage now. It has been 3 days and I have sent multiple emails to Discord, and I have received no response at all. I've been told that my account will automatically be deleted 2 weeks from the initial disabling. All I have to say to this is why? What is the point of disabling the entire account just because one premium feature, which is not needed to own the account, went unpaid? Why disable the account without any warning? Why not respond to any of my support requests? The worst part is that I'm fully able and willing to pay the $100 dollars to Discord in order to keep my Nitro for another year, but they won't let me change my payment information. If my account gets deleted I don't think I'll ever give another dollar to Discord again. I'm sending this from that alternate account by the way, I couldn't log in to send it from my main account.
