My account was disabled.
My account was disabled due to multiple series of chargebacks. Let me state that, yes, I did have to refund a Nitro gift subscription, but only due to the fact that I didn't buy, and nor was I aware of it. I had downloaded some software from this Discord server (on the 6th of January, this year), where it had installed some type of malware made for Discord, and what it did was buy multiple subscriptions of Nitro gifts. On the January 10th, the malware decided to activate. It was only successful once, since the bank had sent a fraud notice out to person who owned the debit card I was using, and since they had no idea what it was about, they said it was fraud which prompted Chase to disable the entire card, and get a 10 dollar refund. Over the next 3 days, it tried and tried to keep purchasing Nitro gifts, but of course, it couldn't since the debit card was disabled. On the 13th, I checked my billing and obviously noticed that something wasn't right. I then thought my account was compromised, so I then tried turning on 2FA and changing my password. The password worked, but when trying to turn 2FA on, my Discord would just close, then reopen. That's when I knew, I installed some fishy programs (only thought that since I had watched a SomeOrdinaryGamers video about something similar to this). I first tried deleting the app, along with the local app data directories for Discord, and it worked! I then looked at my downloads and tried looking at what I had downloaded before the 10th, and that one malicious program was the only executable I had installed a few days leading up to this incident, so I figured it was that. Fast forward to January 21st, I go to my computer and when Discord opens up, I saw that I wasn't signed in, so I instantly thought it was malware again. I then deleted Discord and the app data, then reinstalled. I try signing in, and I see in red text "Your account has been disabled. Check your email." I obviously got nervous since I don't even know what I had done wrong, so as they said, I checked my email. I see that at 6 AM that morning, my account was disabled for "one or more chargebacks associated with purchases made on your account." I obviously tried appealing their decision on the website they told me to go to and tried DM'ing their Twitter account, and it has been 2 days with no response. I tried emailing their support email (support@discordapp.com) on the 22nd, and got sent an automated response that said,
"Hi POTATO,
We just wanted to confirm that we have received your inquiry (11223179). You put time and effort into contacting us, so our Support Team will make sure we give your inquiry the attention it deserves.

POTATO was my very, very old username and my Discord account that I'm trying to recover is bruhalert#5122. Plus I think they made a new case since my case number is different. So I have been waiting and waiting for a response, and I have received none. I am truly afraid about my account's future and this is my desperate attempt to have someone out there help me. I have no idea what to do at the moment. I know that refunding is against the TOS but I had to since I've never bought anything from Discord. I have since apologized to them for charge backing. If anyone can send this to someone who works for Discord, I will greatly appreciate it, so very much, and if anyone who works at Discord sees this, can I please at least get an response as I have stated that I will never do this ever again, even if this incident happens again.

Hello there ! I am sorry for what you have experienced. Discord can reactivate your account because it is done for 1 time, but I'm not sure about it, the reason why your e-mail was not answered by a real discord employee is that the discord support line does not work on weekends, I hope you will not encounter such a situation again.

I am also currently dealing with the same issue. The bank had a dispute with my nitro classic subscription and issued a chargeback without my knowledge. I'm trying to withdraw the dispute as soon as possible and i've tried to reach out to discord and am awaiting a response for the time being. I'm just wondering how long it will take for a response because I really don't want to lose the account i've had since 2015 due to a payment error.

I did not get a response yet. I've waited about 2 days so far. I think they're taking this long to respond because it was memorial day weekend. I'm trying to withdraw the dispute from the bank today so I can send the money back to discord for my nitro subscription. They did say that they were experiencing increased volumes and I hope I do eventually get a response because having to wait a long time for this is very painful.

Sonichackedyou i did sent them email at support@discordapp.com and a ticket from support section i just got my account back few hours ago and got half of my money refunded i am sure you will get a reply soon it took them 5 days to reply to my ticket

My account is disabled I always get a bot telling that i can't get my account to be fixed when i get an email a hacker spammed links to my friends and then my account got disabled a few days after I was wondering if someone can look at this MiniTom#8652 and try to fix my account for me i have friends that i talk to and i paid for nitro boost a while ago so i can't loose any of my things because that is stealing peoples money I won't be happy

i am chitoge. they did it after i cancelled chargeback from my bank and paypal i told them they i cancelled the chargeback and stuff

I told them that the bank told me that the chargeback would be withdrawn in 6 (currently 5) business days, but i'm not sure if I told them enough.

Sonichackedyou i did sent them a mail later on their email. you will get an email telling you about why your account was disabled and if it can be enabled with instructions
and you will recieve an email with password reset to enable account

They have responded to me telling me to provide explicit confirmation by attaching a statement or letter from my payment provider indicating that all disputes have been retracted. Where can I get this if I already retracted it from the Chase bank but they're still processing it?
