Revamp the Feedback Site
Currently, the Feedback / Dreamland site is a hot mess.
It is filled with spam, support requests, and basically anything but actual suggestions and feedback.
It needs a revamp and a purge.
I purpose that the Feedback Site is separated from the Support Site, since there is no point in making us try to find the easily-missable "Feedback" link at the top of said Support Site. This would also aid in improving the Search functions to find existing Feedback Posts as Users won't be auto-directed to a list of results from the Support Site. Additionally, change the "Submit a request" link to say "contact support" (or something of that nature), to further make it clear where to go for Feedback, and where to go for Support.
The second change, is to include a notice on the Feedback Creation page that states where to go for Bug Reports and Support Requests. This would help reduce the amount of what is quite clearly spam-posts on a site dedicated to Suggestions and Feedback.
Thirdly, create sub-categories for the main categories. For example: You have the "Server Management" category, which can then be split into Sub-Categories such as "Server Roles", "Server Templates", "Membership Screening", etc. Furthermore, add more main Categories, so we have the following main categories:
- Account Management (Separated from Server Management)
- Server Management (Separated from Account Management)
- Accessibility
- Merchandise
- Mobile
- Nitro and Server Boosts
- Overlay
- Text Chat
- Voice and Video Chat
- Community Programs (which can be sub-divided into Partnership, Verification, Bug Hunters, HypeSquad Houses, HypeSquad Events)
- Websites (so the main site, Feedback Site, Support Site, etc)
- Other
The "API" category would be removed and redirected to the GitHub Repro, since that's where API feedback is meant to be sent to anyways.
Fourthly, delete every Feedback post with less than x votes (maybe less than 1000?) as to bulk-purge all the spam, bug report, and support posts on a Feedback site. Let's restart with a fresh clean slate, as this Feedback site does seem neglected.
