Sharing or reply to a message from a different channel

It would be nice if you could reply to a message from a channel like announcements and send it to general for example. Another form for this could also be, copying the link of the original message then pasting it alongside your message, but instead of just showing the whole link it would show a preview of the message and attached to it would be my message.

  this would be useful for when channels are specific and replies aren't allowed; and can talk about a particular item in that channel in a general channel but being able to reference it would make the discussion much easier.
