Bug Report - Attaching a monitor makes Discord full screen and frozen
I can't find how to submit bug reports, and Discord's help pages only show how to become a debug tester.
When Discord is running and minimized to the system tray area of the taskbar on my laptop and then I plug in an external monitor so that it extends my desktop across both monitors, then Discord restores itself to almost maximized and it's frozen. I have to go to the start menu and "re-run" Discord before I can interact with it and close/minimize it again. It's like cached pixels become foremost in the display stream, but the app isn't actually there behind the pixels.
I did find what format the bug report is supposed to be in, so here you go:
!submit -t When plugging or unplugging a monitor to my laptop, Discord goes fullscreen and frozen. -r - Start with Discord running on Windows, minimized to system area of taskbar (Lenovo Flex 5 laptop in my case) - Plug in another monitor to HDMI port (I have it set to extend desktop when this happens) - Discord opens fullscreen in front of everything else. You cannot click on Discord to close (minimize) it or interact with it in any way. You have to go to the Start Menu and tell it to re-run Discord, which then makes it so you can interact with Discord again. - Same thing happens if you start with the monitor plugged in and unplug it. -e Discord should remain minimized to the system area of the taskbar. -a Discord fills the screen (not maximized, but almost) and the mouse cannot interact with it. -c Stable 76502 (e6ff0ce) Host 0.0.309 -s Windows 10 64-Bit (10.0.19042)
