Account administration for individual servers

I find it mind boggling that the attatched thread reached 1,000 comments until it was locked due to the maximum amount of comments was reached, and after two years, stilll nothing has happened. Just like the very final comment states, I now have to change pretty much all of my settings, because my class has decided to use discord as a way of communication. My profile picture that I have had for five years is now changed to my own face, which I'm honestly not comfortable with, seeing as I'm part of many other servers. I can no longer show what games I'm playing, as I usually keep clients running with my PC on all day, so it would look like I'm never doing school and only playing video games. Also, my cusom status, which is a somewhat crude inside joke between me and my friends have also had to go.

The fact that we don't have an option to customize our profile in regard to what server we are currently using is mind boggling, as there clearly is demand for this. It would not be hard to implement these changes as well, and I can imagine that I'm far from the only one experiencing this as an issue. Could devs please make a comment on this and elaborate on why this isn't possible yet, and when (if ever) we are going to get this change?
