New feature idea to be considered for use on any/all servers

I was thinking for a server, what if you could change your username for a specific channel to something else without changing it for the entire server itself? Imagine being able to do anything with your new name be it for RP or for the heck of it, this feature would be useful, maybe not for everyone but it could be for the majority of users who use discord for everything and anything. I was also thinking maybe it could be a feature that can be turned off in the server's settings.

    I see one big problem with this one, It will be too easy for users to escape punishment for actions they have done. if you have a different name for every channel, it will be impossible to track who's who and remember the many names said user has. For this, I recommend you use Tupperbox, a bot that allows you to make other avatars you can use to talk as it's easier to track and moderate and you can tell who is using what avatar through DM's from the bot.

    But you can click on their name in a server and see who it is anyways as long as you keep track of the user themselves, the only issue I can see is that they could change their username in general but if they don't have nitro then you could in theory keep track of their users id #. When I said username in the original post I meant nickname.
