Restricting @mention to Specific Text Channels

I am aware this has been asked for before.
But It would extremely useful to have this one option to optimize clearer Discord designs.
Example:

Role A belongs to Channel A
Member of Role A decides to say something specific for Channel A via link with an @mention in the General channel without a second thought.
General Channel by rule design is kept clean for general, non categorized conversation and the like.
Being able to specify in the standardized [N][/][Y] format in the Channel Permissions for Text would look something like this.
"@Role A Message" to General."
General: Channel A>Edit Channel>Role Mentions>Add Role>Select Role>[N][/][Y]

Result:
General chat (or channels specified) no longer deal with incorrect mentions alerting people unintentionally in the incorrect places and those who may use only sections of a Discord will no longer feel pressured/forced to using mute/suppress AND you have the benefit of your members feeling less aggravated by inconsistent demand and need of others for whatever use-case they may have.
