Why the need to fill my payment information when discord gave me free nitro

Hello, I'm 17 years old boy, today when I opened discord, I found that discord gave me a free month nitro, but to use it, I need to fill in my payment information. And here’s the problem, I'm at an age that makes it hard for me to apply for a credit card, even if I was 18 or more, I live in Algeria, where it’s harder to get one of the credit cards that discord is allowing to use. 

what can I do? I'm afraid that the offer will disappear after 9 days without return, if there’s any way, please help me, I will appreciate that help.

    It's a free month WHEN you buy nitro. Ie your paying for 11 months and not 12 like the regular plan.
