Server update frequency

Please add an option to manually define how often things update in the background as discord is constantly using CPU resources and network usage that I don't require forcing me to leave those servers.
You should add an option to define servers that only update every 'x'.

  Im sure many people have servers they have no reason for updating to happen in the background, especially with the size of some of them. I think I lot of people would appreciate this feature.
