New colour scheme is really inaccessible
See title. The new colours are far too bright, which is already negatively effecting me and others I know who use Discord regually. I have vision issues and easily get migrains, and the brightness of the colours are making it impossible for me to look at the new icon, bot statuses, ect without being in pain. I cannot physically look at your Twitter currently due to how eyestrainy that blue is, that's how bad it is
Potential solutions to this issue:
- Modify the colour scheme to be less bright
- Allow people to toggle between the new colours and the old one
- Just revert the changes frankly
While I honestly don't expect much as Discord seems to constantly ignore any complaints about accessibility, I figured it be worth a shot making a complaint over this. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues from the new colours, feel free to add on

I’m also having a hard time reading things with the new blue colour, it’s so incredibly bright it’s making my eyes lose focus and I rarely even have this type of issue! (New logo font looks awful too but that’s a separate issue).
I also dislike the new forced @ mention colour in dark mode, the white just doesn’t stand out enough from the rest of the text.. I prefer having my name colour there as it makes it easier to identify the @ is targeted at myself and not a role or everyone.Unfortunate that it will likely stay like this. This entire forum is just their negative feedback dumpster that they don’t give a shit about.
