Rebranding

I have ADHD and severe problems with migraines.
The new colour scheme is very bright and very exhausting to look at, even the logomark has lost its uniformity that existed with the more pointed edges to make it appear more rounded, the blocky design is very unbalanced. And let's not even talk about your new Wordmark because I have nothing nice to say about it, but that's my design sensibilities getting irritated at all the uniformity goign on in design recenlty, makign it impossible tell apart one corporate conglomerate from another, I had hoped Discord would not be falling into that particular black hole.
I would also like to know why yet another font was chosen which impacts legibility a lot, the kerning is too narrow, making letter swim into each other making it very exhauting to read that in combination with the colour scheme is just asking for a migraine. Especially the heavy weight of the Bold Variant is making everything swim together, at first I thought it was just a resolution thing but I have found that it is an issue on all the screens I checked.
The light indigo you've had so far was so nice and gentle why attack our poor exhausted retinas with something so overly saturated now?

I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form about this kind of issues. I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.

They claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
