Eye strain due to the new colour

I'm autistic with some good old sensory issues and I literally can't use the app to communicate with my friends and servers due to seeing the colour pop up when discord tells me how many messages have been posted since so and so time. Yeah, it only appears for a little while but seeing it in every channel in every server has made me get a headache. It's my main communication app and now I can't use it. Please either change it back to what it was or add an option to toggle it back please

  I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form! I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.

  They claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
