most monitors and even phones allow you to reduce the saturation of your monitor. if this is a medical need then you should use the tools given to you.

I AM making use of these tools. But desaturating or discoloring my screen to that degree interferes with viewing every single other application and website I use in a functional way, including the rest of the Discord app itself. I'm an artist using Discord to keep up with art-based communities. Considering that every single other application and website I use has managed to stay within a palette that doesn't cause inconveniences for their users, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that Discord do the same.

New colors are awful and too strong imo. They should either stay with the original colors or give an option to chose whatever colors we want, fully customize the look of dc. But nah, they make changes like any other big companies, don't give any options for going back to old styles etc. and make everything for the worse for most of their users

@rainbow Exactly. It's like when commercials are 10 times louder than whatever programme you were watching. Sure, you can lower the sound every ******* time to prevent damage to your ears, but it's tiresome and quite frankly they should be doing better. I could open Discord on my phone and turn down brightness etc to minimum, but the constant changing back and forth *just* for Discord is just as tiresome. It's much easier to just not use Discord anymore. If you have to **** around with the settings and change them back and forth for 1 lousy app/programme, they're doing it wrong.

It's giving me headaches too. It's unusable. Literally forced to move to a different messaging app lmao
