i just went to the branding page to discover the old blurple and logo, and the same appears on your website. now we just have to wait for the client change. thank you for listening even if it took a while.

  their website has been back and forth with the branding so as much as I would love for it to be true I would not hold my breath.

  probably because it wasn't changed back and people are still upset...
  or because people didn't read correctly and assume the OP meant change back to the rebrand when the site was showing the old design.
