Feature Request: Organize Favorite GIFs
Currently, to organize your favorite gifs, a user needs to post a gif in a chat channel, remove the gif from your favorites, and then re-add the gif in order to have some semblance of order.
This is time consuming especially if you have a large collection of favorites and where you have a half-dozen or so key ‘go to’ gifs you use on a regular basis that you always want at the top of the mozaic.
It would be helpful if any, or all, of the following improvements could be made so that users could have better control over their favorite gifs.
In order of preference:
- Allow users to rearrange the order directly by dragging and dropping them within the favorites pop-up window area
- A ‘sort by’ link that would allow a few common options such as
- Frequency used
- Date added
- Name
- Keyword
- A “show/hide” or “filter” link that would allow a few common filters such as
- Name
- Keyword
Implementation. As a simple implementation, currently the line that shows <--- Favorites has more than enough room and could include the necessary links and a short filter form text field in order to enable these features.
This would vastly improve the user experience and would allow users to focus more on their social communications rather than hunting for gifs.

This would be such a nice feature to have

This is something I wished to see on Discord for a long time already. Some people have hundreds of gifs in their favs and scrolling through all of them is such a pain. (I just hope Discord will not slap us in our face again by adding it only for their Nitro users like they did with so highly requested avatars for each server)

Own categories in the favorite gifs would be nice also!
