Upgraded Discord is TERRIBLE!

Way too difficult to navigate now. Hard to see where new messages are, hard to do a simple task that used to be easy, like simply finding a member to send a message to. Toggling between servers and members is difficult. Calling a member creates issues if the member doesn't pick up, puts you through a loop to get out of that call and start a new  one. The old discord was great, why mess with what was working? Please switch back or allow users to choose which version they prefer.

  I also find it difficult to search members based on their names, especially those who haven't posted in the server before. It's hard to initiate friendship or follow up on important matters personally

  I agree. The new UI is NOT user friendly in the slightest.
