Ability to post cross-server announcements in threads

When following a channel from another servers' announcements channel, messages can only be posted in a regular text channel, and cannot be added to any threads, including forum channels. Even though forum channels appear in the selectable list when you go to edit or unfollow a channel in the integration settings, selecting the forum channel as the destination has no effect.

There should be a way to handle this, either specifically the thread to post messages into, or have it create and manage its own thread specifically for integrations.
