New Text bar/UI design

Yeah i'm not sure who cleared this idea:

But its bad.
the space between is not only uneven and just irritating to look at but it just LOOKS out of place. the activities bar was fine where it was originally being in the same line/space as the little ‘+’ tab at the far left of the text bar, as well as made more sense. As you need to send a separate link or tab to join others activities through chat

if you absolutely must keep it, then at least put it between the gifting option and GIF selection. Or perhaps even combine those two to double as a sort of advert for not only nitro but also new and upcoming activies.

Just please, for the love of the gods and my remaining sanity, burn whatever design this is and never let it see the light of day again.

I agree… this is an extremely unfriendly design element for literally anyone who has the Discord app scaled to any degree.

Agreed completely. This is incredibly poor design and it makes it more difficult for me to read what I'm typing. Typing space should NOT be taken up by any of this. Put everything back where it was, and find a better place for the glorified advertisement tab than RIGHT where the send button should be.

I showed this travesty to a friend who is using an older version and the first thing she said was “We need to find a discord alternative”, and if they don't make this less of a complete pain in the rear I'm in agreement.
