The new UI feels wrong

The new UI I found today was not really great. For some reason with me usual window size the chat is REALLY small now. And what about the bottom left profile bar that now hovers over everything? It does not look good to me at all, why would it be disconnected? What's the purpose?

All in all, it's ugly, but please make the proportions be similar to how they were before. That's the bare minimum.
