Disable dms for specific users without having to block them

Hi!

A common trend on my part is where i will have a fine friendly relationship with a person on a server, but they let themselves in my dms, and don't take my many hints.

I'd like to be able to right click a specific person and press "disable dms with this person" or something.

And no, i can't set my dms to friend only as i am a staff member on multiple servers, so my dms need to be open to help with mod related issues.

 

Also, a side note, please remove the big bar with blocked messages completely, there's no point in blocking someone if you can still see their messages.

    ugh, i know this feeling. its really annoying. someone keeps coming into my dms with \*snug, \*pat*, \*hug* and its really annoying. i blocked them once but they got really salty when i was talking in a server we're both in. its really annoying ;w;

    I have the same problem, I'm a moderator of a server and have to see everything everyone posts, but I'd also like the facility to block certain users from DMs.

    Well yes, that's true. I also have the same problem. I don't like having to block that user to disable DMs, an option  called disable dms would be nice as OP said. Sadly, i thought the account % safety has that option but it seems nope, it doesn't, so yeah, i would like to have that option as it sounds better to disable dms for a user rather than blocking him. Yeah, some people also felt salty when they weren't able to dm me in servers they are in. Hope it gets added in the future.

    I agree we need this, im not a mod, but i dont want disable dms for an entire server cause i dont want to friend the entire server, and than this really annoying person keeps repeat dming me but i cant block them cause i need to be able to talk to them in the server

    Super needed. Being a mod of a server and requiring open DMs causes so many other unsolicited messages it's ridiculous.
