Bring back the old Android ping badge

I don't like the new round ping badge on Android, I think the old one looked nicer.

  The ping badge is better the old one round ping is better then a cube ping

  Yes, as a long-term discord user, it seems very weird having the round symbol instead of the square one. The old one just looked so much nicer.

  I prefer the older one, it seems the modern trend these days is "remove corners" But a notification is something that's suppose to get your attention, something round as a circle doesn't get the sharper attention that a square does in my opinion

  This isn't the same sort of request as the other one discord referred us to, but I want the square mention icon back.

  Bring it back on pc as well please, this new one ruins it, the one we've always known is part of the discord spirit, the culture that has been developed its a meme, an emoji, iconic, anyone can recognize it

      I, too, have a very noticeable emptiness without the red box appearing when someone mentions me in a server. I normally was filled with absolute shrieking joy. At least that is how it was compared to now. Since the red boxes became completely circular, I don't get that same mood when someone mentions me. When they were taken away, it reminded me how mum always took the cardboard boxes, which I hoarded in my room, away. It was like losing a friend. A best friend. One that you'll never get over through the rest of time. I can now only look at Discord as my mum who just takes my boxes away. I sit in despair, awaiting this passing year for them to return, even though I know she probably already recycled the asset for someone else to reuse.
