Suggestion : More Customizable Channels

It would be very cool to be able to make things such as;

Making an infinite/custom slowdown in a channel

Letting people have a channel where only the the people you allow can see what people in the channel wrote. (basically being allowed to send stuff but not see what others posted).

Making a giveaway feature where a person with the role that has the ability to make a giveaway can start a giveaway, where  they can be able to make giveaways that require you to join a server, subscribe to a youtube channel, follow someone on instagram etc. (This can make it possible to check with bots if people connect their social media accounts to discord so discord can see who you follow, who you are subbed to etc.) Also it would be very cool if you could write the ending date and making discord a random chooser so you can pick the winner between the participants while knowing no one cheated in the giveaway.

Make a light discord that lets you access less features but uses less power from your computer, so you can have a better gaming performance. 

The light version can be lacking these features which we don't frequently use;

Nitro purchase settings

Changing settings on your server or on any server you are a moderator in

Not being able to send new friend requests. (it is useful but you don't need it everytime you run discord)

Not seeing  news/notifications  from the servers you are inactivce in

Joining new servers etc.

It would be very nice if the community would add some details to the ideas to make it better :)

Also being able to make a home page on your server notifying everything new in one center that is fully customizable would make discord servers a lot better.

Imagine being able to get verified on discord, so people can't make fake versions of famous people and it would be eaiser to find them on discord. While being sure they are the real version of themselves.

This doesn't really include much details but a more customizable interface would be nice. What I mean is things such as widgets, choosing which buttons are where, being able to put your dms and servers in different places.Also making a discord homepage where in one part you can check the news what your favorite servers announced something new lately, The dms you got. And basically being able to make a place that even lets you see things such as your Youtube sub count etc. (It could also be used together with the giveaway feature to see the status of the giveaway, amount of the entries, and how many days left for the results.

I don't know if this is actually a sense making move but a collab with Streamlabs would make streaming a lot easier with streamers where you can just take the improtant parts from both programs and make them into one screen. (By this I mean like being able to see your server with a bar above discord showing the status of your stream.

I just wanted to have some fun with new ideas. It became a short article. I will stop my imagination and hope for these updates to get in  the app.

It would be very nice if the community would add some details to the ideas to make it better :)
