Ping Filter View

It can be a chore scrolling through what can be large text dumps at times; You get pinged about something just to see it 4 hours later and 300 sentences following.

 

It would be nice if we could follow a process like so to better view messages intended for a specific audience in a channel.

 

While in a server;

1) view ping option

1a) clicking brings to view only a feed of text that has your pings

1b) you also would want to have it filter which channels they're from

2) Clicking on the text gives you the option to view the feed back in normal view.

3) Past Pings: Allow users to view past pings within this function.

    How is this different from the Recent Mentions modal that already shows you all pinged messages on a separate list and let's you filter mentions (per server, role mentions, and everyones)? I get 1b might not be included but the rest you listed is already what Recent Mentions already does?
