Hi, here is my suggestion virtual reality support for discord

Here is a list of what features it could have and how you could use it.

- Notifications for messages and calls
[You could get notifications of your discord messages or voice calls and press a shortcut button to
accept the call or open the message conversation example left thumb click + left trigger press]

- Discord VR overlay
[Just like the current in game overlay that is already available for flat screen discord using the same shortcut as above, would mostly be used to mute, deafen, leave a call, join a call and other functions.]

Q:How would something like this be implemented?
A:I think the best way to implement something like this would be to use the OpenXR API as it is supported by both SteamVR and Oculus and it will most likely become the standard API for VR and XR you can find the link to OpenXR here see this post for SteamVR and this post for Oculus.

  I agree that an in-game overlay designed for VR would be a really good addition to Discord. It's a bit hard to manage right now.
