Cloud Storage
I've been using my own private server to store pictures and notes. I am aware that Discord allows Nitro users to send files up to 100MB. I was thinking however, that what if we all could possibly have a cloud storage on user accounts starting with the usual 8MB for regular users. Nitro users (or maybe a higher premium service) could have a storage capacity up to 1GB.
This could also be utilized for file sharing between other users. It would certainly get rid of the headache of using Dropbox, Google Drive, Mediafire, etc. lessening the chance of your computer being given STDs. (This does not however mitigate the risk of people sharing malicious files.)
Possible Features:
- Storage from 8MB up to 1GB+
- Direct file sharing between users (Nitro feature?)
- Multiple buying options for storage capacity (No Nitro required?)
- The ability to make files both private and public via a link as you can with most file sharing websites.
Before you comment, yes I am aware that you can just make a private server for yourself and do some of the things stated above.
