Account Verification Doesn't Need to be This Much of a Hassle.

Account verification/authentication is just getting worse and worse. It isn't just discord, we've all seen these badly designed authenticator apps, and none of them are the same. Now with my issue with discord: at least open another instance for account/password recovery, even if you only have 2 options. Any other app would have a third option, even if that option is just to contact support. There would be a link to wherever you needed to go (if they actually wanted to support you) to find a solution. Authenticators are a convoluted mess right now, but they may be the key to widespread, standardized verification. It's about time, honestly, and somebody has to lead the way. I'm doubling down on authenticator apps, and will try as many as it takes to finally put an end to my account rifles. Thank you for reading my Ted talk.

    I can log in to my Nordpass, as I know its info, but I can't even get through without having a functional authenticator. To boot, I can't figure out a straightforward way to get my Nordpass, or any account for that matter, onto any Authenticator app without being logged into Nordpass. It's circular logic. I literally cannot sign into my Microsoft Authenticator because my Mircosoft account, you guess it, needs to be authenticated. I'm using it and can login on a browser just fine. I think Nordpass with its master password function is my 2-step Verification at this point.

    I have to agree with this the Two-Factor Authentication is terrible, for me i have this problem. 
    When its enabled my discord for my tablet can no longer log in to my account, Email, Password and the Two Factor Code and i still cant log in to my account on my tablet 

    I think going for something like Steam's Steam Guard is best or something similar
