How To Destroy A Server (please remove the prune option.)
The prune (or purge,) option.
Why is there no reason to disable this option for server owners? It's far to easy to completely and utterly annihilate a discord server with only minimal mod powers. Seriously, this needs to change. It hasn't happened to my Discord server of over 1,400 people yet, but there's plenty of horror stories of discord servers dying due to the fact there's only 1 unhappy mod. Not only that, but it's even EASIER to destroy a server nowadays since you can choose the option to kick people even if they do have roles. Previously, people could only prune people who didn't have roles, but now you can prune people with roles beneath your rank. Please give an option for server owners to disable it.

Too true. I want server staff to be able to kick, just not 500 people at a time!
The prune option should only be allowed for the owner, not everyone who can kick. Come on.

I mean, at least disallow it for everyone that doesn't have Administrator Permission or maybe Manage Server Permission. This Prune option is very dangerous for large servers where low-level moderators need to be able to kick people. Someone lower than an Admin or Server Manager should NEVER be in a position to be able to utterly destroy a server in this way.

I know a way to avoid this.
You should try to use a bot using "roles" to define who is a mod and who isn't and not native permissions.
This way you can remove the kick / ban permissions to everyone and they will be able to do this through the bot.

yeah lots of admins and i need it too because my server owner literally trusts us but because of pruning of another moderator that it was Unintentional and kicked about 2000 people that they weren't online for 1 or 2 days...
if there would be an option for just server owners not administrators it would be great and so goood1 -
the prune must be an option for just the server owner not even administrators!!
