Discord support team is very disappointing
I am sorry to say that the support service provided by discord support team is very disappointing.
I am living in Japan and I tried to use an Japan mobile phone to get a verification code. However, it wasn't successful. When I reported this issue, Jean, the staff, suggested all the solutions as if this MUST BE my issue. He further asked me to contact server admin that requires phone verification one by one, but without willingly provide an evidence that Discord wasn't able to send me a code for my convenience. He told me the server sent me a code, but I wasn't able to receive. I also explained that I have been using my phone to get text from oversea companies.
This is the 8th day after I replied him I did all of his suggestions but still failed to get an verification code. I have asked whether he is still handling my case, but I didn't get any response.
I understand that Discord is protecting users' safety so it requires phone verification, however, it is very disappointing because 1) as a business they don't have any substitute/ alternative when the normal verification doesn't work. I have suggested the staff to phone me directly to verify my phone and talk to me in person, but he didn't answer my suggestion directly. And of course he didn't do that either. 2) At they end, they just completely ignored my email, of course, without solving the problem. I reckon they is very unacceptable as an international business. Sorry but I have to say this is a terrible app and terrible service.

i dont even have a phone...what should i do?! i am scared i will lose my account and never be able to enter again! i havent even got help yet!

Discord support is to slow. i requested to uplift the deletion of my account I am 20 years old and I have a proof about it but the support is like snail I requested it few days ago :(

Angelfish, as far as I know you can participate in the servers that don't require phone verification. You won't lose your account without verifying your phone.
Pakito, at the beginning, the support team staffs replied my emails within a day. This is why I said they ignored my emails because I didn't even get response of the email asking whether they are still handling my case.0
