Apple Watch Voice Channels!

Posts have been mentioned in the past about this but it's been a few years and I'd like to bump the conversation.

My friend group mostly communicates throughout the day via Discord voice channels on open mic. It would be absolutely lovely to be able to just have my watch while I go on a quick store run or anything. I've seen many posts about that both here and on reddit and am wondering if it's every anything planned to be implemented.
