Android client emojis

Hey Discord devs, I was made aware today that the IOS client for discord uses the native IOS emojis via my friend is uses discord on their iPhone. I use a android phone and I still have to look at the dated old Google emojis. I've stopped using emojis overall because I can't stand looking at them. I know it's a subjective thing but is there any way of getting newer, more modern looking emojis into the Android client?
