Screenshare greatly lowers microphone volume on desktop app

Hi,

I have been completely avoiding Discord desktop because everytime I share my screen or watch someone else's screen, it lowers my microphone volume to the point of me having to scream in front of my mike to barely be heard.

I reset my audio settings, tried turning on and off many of the features and nope, nothing. When I switch to the web app, audio works fine, but messes screen sharing, making it all blurry and taking ages to launch.

I don't share my PC with anyone else and still a couple of my workmates have reported having the same problem.

Can you please tell me if there's anything I'm missing?
