Would be nice to continue DMing people even if you're no longer on the same server.

It'd be nice to be able to continue talking to people you've previously DMed even after you are no longer in the same server. There was a point where the owner of the server we were using straight up deleted it out of anger and instead of being able to continue talking I had to reach out to those people via an extrnal site which sucks as I've only managed to connect/talk to one person who was on that same server this year. The others who were less active outside Discord? I haven't been able to send any messages to, the site taunting me with conversations prior to the deletion, a snapshot to how things were which at the moment can only be in the past for some unexplained reason. Just make it an option for goodness sake.
