Calls dropped for no reason on two different Samsung Galaxy phones.
I sleep call daily with my boyfriend overnight, but for some reason on my Samsung Galaxy 8 AND 20 I am dropped out of the call randomly during that time. This has also happened in the middle of the day while in a call with friends or with him as well. This happens on or off Wifi. The weird part is I don't have this issue on my old Iphone 4S that I ended up switching to for night calls. Why is this only affecting my android phone? Also recently I even lost the ability to see when the other person mutes so I never know when they're not talking or when they're muted.

An update in August/September started this for my phone, it's been horribly frustrating cause it'll happen even with activity- or heaven forbid I watch something or play a game on my phone while in the call, still disconnects. I assume it was a feature implemented like when they put on the 5-6hour no activity boot in pc calls to conserve bandwidth, but there's not a lot of reliable services that help for LDR relationships where we want the comfort of waking up to our partners.
The mute/deafen not showing is also quite frustrating.
If it's a bandwidth cost issue, just have it as a nitro perk that as long as one person in the call has it it'll hold open the line.
Otherwise the only solution I've seen people talk of is making a server specifically for the sleep calls as it seems to not boot from them on discord. (I haven't tested this myself, but I do hope it helps either of you/anyone else that reads this.)0
