Reset Password Issues

So, my account was falsely flagged on February15th by discord anti-spam bot. It has since been re-enabled however it says I need to change my password in order to regain access to my account. 

Ok no problem. I go to "forgot password" and when it says it has sent me a 6 digit code via SMS, it instead sends a text telling me to check my email and that that my Discord password reset link has been sent. 

I access email, click on the link, change password, and it then asks for 6 digit auth code/ 8 digit backup code... and it doesn't text me a 6 digit code. 

My other friend is having the same issue, locked out of account because it also won't send him a code and he doesn't have google authenticator for QR code scan.

I have been logging in forever with the SMS codes. Since when has a phone number and email not been enough? Or is this some sort of glitch? either way I find its ridiculous that I was falsely kicked off my account, and now I'm just locked out because discord won't send me a 6 digit code that I have always used.
