Video Call Interface Background Color (Chroma Green)
I am currently looking for a way to make it easier to integrate Discord video calls into my OBS stream stage/scene for podcast recording and as such, it is currently only possible to do this with Window/Desktop capture and: A) arranging participants within an empty rectangular space B) having a Window/Desktop capture source for each participant and cropping their cameras and arranging them within the overlay/scene.
Discord should give you an option to change the background color of calls from black to perhaps a safer chroma green so that you can capture the window in full, and chroma the background so only the participants cameras are showing, which allows you to better integrate it into your stage/overlay/layouts.
Use case example: I have a podcast scene with a custom background, logos, and other calls to action and in the middle I'd like to position the Discord video call within the scene without having to crop anything.
Drawbacks to current usage: You cannot achieve a clean crop of each participant within a scene.
Quality of Life Improvement: Capture the entire Discord video call window, and chroma the background so only the camera views are captured and integrated into your scene layout, making it easier to integrate into your aesthetic, rather than settling for a black background or cropping each participant one by one.
