You should be able to hide members of a server on the member list

I think there should be a button you can push to hide members both personally and, if you have the permissions to, server-wide. Just like how you can mute someone, and also server mute someone. I think this would be aesthetically useful. If there is a bot on a server, it will obviously show in the member list, but if you could hide it, it wouldn't, which I think would be cool. Or, maybe there could be a way to have a second list called bot list, for example, where it displays bots (or a certain role), and this list could be toggled with the normal member list.

    I agree! It would also help with members with inappropriate statuses.

    Discord development team's philosophy favors the user, not the server owner.

     

    Same reason why they won't allow server owners to disallow "Invisible" status -- total BS, considering there is a "Do Not Disturb" status available.

     

    If you want to be invisible, log the !$%$ out of Discord. Their whole philosophy is backwards AF.
