Default Notification Sounds

I've been using Discord for a long time now, and lately, I've been getting sick of the notification sounds (incoming/outgoing call tone, ping tone, etc.). It would be great to have an option to change the default sounds, and change the sounds for individual friends and servers. (in the form of .mp3, .wav, etc.)

Discord has become my main communication app, and I can say confidently that it has for many others as well. I use Discord more often than my default calling/messaging app on my phone, and on those apps I have the feature to change default and individual sounds. Discord started as a communication app tailored for gaming, but the Discord Team recently announced they were going to strive to be a more universal platform. I think this feature would be a step in the right direction if they continue to pursue their goal.

The Discord Team could take it a step further and implement a catalog of sounds to choose from, integrated into the app, similar to what Google has. Maybe give the option for boosted servers to implement custom sounds. This would have to be regulated as well though, don't want a server blasting your ears off every time a member pings you.
