Reply Feature - Expanding Messages

I feel like the new reply feature could be way better if you didnt need to skip back and forth in the chat to follow a conversation. The old quote feature was better in that way because the message someone replied to was right next to the reply and you didnt have to skip to it to read it.
This could easily be fixed by an expand option, that makes you able to expand the message someone replied to, so you can read it right there and dont have to skip to it and then scroll back down. This could also add the possibility to look at a picture in a replied to message, as those will just be a picture icon in the current format.

As it is now, I feel like the reply feature is a step back from the previous quoting system, I hope it will improve over time with the communities feedback.
