User Setting to switch reply-tag on and off per default

The new reply feature has the great option to switch a ping on and off. By default the ping is enabled. I would love to see a user setting that allows me to control what the default would be, so that if I tend to not ping people when replying, I could switch default to not-ping and never bother about it again.

  I think reply pinging should be off by default. It can get annoying when you see a tag but then it's just a younger/less experienced user who does not have the courtesy to turn it off. I expect a ping to be something important, y'know.

  This needs to be impletemented immediately, I'm going notification insane!!! Tags should ONLY be for time sensitive stuff.

  +1 I think the option should still be there for us to ping people when replying if we deem it necessary, but there's no reason it should be enabled by default.
