App freezes on channel (iphone)

so i have the latest version of discord on my iphone x and last night it just completely froze. even when i exit the app and come back, it will still be frozen on whatever channel it decided to get stuck on. the only way i’ve discovered getting around this is completely deleting the app and installing it again, but it will still freeze about 20 minutes later. any suggestions?
