Smooth Attenuation
The current implementation of attenuation gives a harsh and frequent volume change, can get annoying if many people use voice activation for example
I think it would be nice to have the following:
If voice activity for more than (Variable: attenuation activation length [ms])
--- then activate attenuation (instant)
If no voice activity for (Variable: deactivate attenuation after this length of silence [ms])
--- then gradually increase the volume back to 100 (maybe a variable)
The goal here is to prevent attenuation from activating when people are clicking their mouse for example, and to have a more pleasant volume change

this sounds like it would be a really good improvement! hope they implement it.

Can we have this please? It would definitely increase the experience with the setting.

Yes! Here's what I want:
- To hear my friends while playing games.
Here's NOT what I want:
- Game volume jumping up and down erratically, even in-between words in a sentence.
Even just holding the attenuation for an extra 1-3 seconds after speaking would significantly help reduce the unnecessary volume fluctuations during natural pauses in conversation.
Regardless of anything else, an extremely brief (20-40 ms) fade would also make the effect more pleasant.
