Enable Twemoji and custom emojis in channel names, role names and usernames

Currently Discord only supports Twemoji emojis and custom emojis in text chat, but not in the channel names, role names or in the usernames. For example on Windows when it comes to channel names, role names and usernames Discord falls back to the Segoe UI Emoji and Segoe UI Symbol font family instead of using Twemoji or custom emojis, which makes customizing and decorating our servers much more difficult. And not only many emojis fall back to on Windows don't have a color variant but flag emojis don't even have an emoji image, they just have two letters.

I have the following proposals to solve this issue:

A) As the title of this post says enable Twemoji and custom emojis in channel names, role names and usernames. For example right now they look like this in channel names:

But after Twemoji is enabled they would look like this:

B) Or just like you have it in the setting that allows people to set their custom status, allow people to set a custom emoji as a role, or channel prefix, like this:

Which would then when it comes to for example channels would apear in the place of the hastag icons before the channel names, like this:

C) Enable both. This would allow the most amount of customization, and would be appreciated by everyone.

  +1. I'm in a server with emoji channel names, and it gets really cluttered sometimes. It's also annoying when the emojis in channel names differ from the ones in chat.

  I totally agree, Twemoji looks much better than Microsoft's default emojis and it would also make discord look more cozy, not sure about the 3rd one since it looks like it could be abused easily (fake checkmarks, mega icons and all that nonsense, as well as not being able to identify what type of channel it is), but interesting idea!

  This should absolutely happen. This is an issue for communities who may be using emojis to convey things in channel names for accessibility.
