I just fixed it. If you need any help dm me on discord onev#3553

okay so in pc settings you may have to fix your time zone first, then change it so both time and time zone are automatically set. Restart discord with ctrl + r. and then hopefully it works, like it did for me.

go here to see your countries time zone: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/default-time-zones

basically, if ur on windows 10, right click on your time, and then click adjust date/time and then press 'automatically set your time zone' and then i pressed sync, and then go onto ur discord and do ctrl + r. it should work as soon as u refresh ur discord
hopefully this works for u bc it worked for me

i've tried all the above but nothing is working.. my discord time is literally 19 hours behind my own time

Same here. I did all the above. For me its 4 hours ahead and has been like this for a few days. Annoying the heck out of me.
EDIT: i set my pc time to match discord time showing. it then fixed itself after a min. now both my pc and discord times match again when i put it back to my normal time.-1 -
I have a solution that worked for me. I went on Date & Time settings and set my time zone to Coordinated Universal Time. It automaticly detects you'r time zone. Then i went to discord and pressed Ctrl + r. And then it worked for me and i hope it will work for you!

I've tried setting it to auto-detect, syncing, and ctrl+r, but nothing is changing. The hardest part for me is that I live in a sandwich of sorts. Go too far north, and BAM, DST. Too far south, and BAM, DST. However, I live in an area that does NOT observe DST. Discord seems to insist on observing DST, because it's an hour ahead. If I set my time zone to auto-detect, there's a chance that it will turn on the DST observance setting, making my computer observe DST when it shouldn't. Because it chooses the general time zone over my state, even though both are options... *sigh* I just don't know what to do!!!

fix: (Windows 10)
Make sure your location services are turned on.
Go to Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time.
Make sure everything on that page is checked and sync your clock with the button.

So I found a way to fix it, basically what I did was (This is for windows) I opened my computer settings, went to time and language, set my timezone, and hit Sync Now and it ended up automatically fixing discord, if it doesn't automatically do it, I suggest trying to restart discord

How do you even do that ? P.Rafael

"fix your time zone first, then change it so both time and time zone are automatically set. Restart discord with ctrl + r"
None of this works for me, and I'm not computer-illiterate. No matter how many times I reset time and whether or not adjust for DST, and then refresh Discord, my Discord time is 6 hours off.

none of this advice works, and for some reason my pc sets my time to 3 hours earlier than the actual time automatically so i cant do half of the things suggested here
