How is there no threads on new Friendlist?
Only found one thread about it, but the title is misleading, so I'll make this here...
Seems like it's not everyone who has this design though, all my friends with the exact same version numbers and language settings are still on the old version... so I'll start by showing a history of what's been going on with my friendlist.
This is how it used to look for me, and how it seems to look for most people still
Then it went to this version, where all the different statuses had their own (non-collapsable) tab.... Horrible waste of screen-estate
Then luckily it went SLIGHTLY better, and removed the tabs for ALL status version and only having Online/Offline, which still isn't collapsable
And today it changed again... again for the worse... they've made it so we go to the profiles of our friends instead of messages, when clicking on them...
Who thought this was a good idea?
Why waste so much screenspace on nothing?
Why can't the different tabs collapse?
Why would I wanna go to my friends Discord profile? what would I need to do there? I click on them, to interact with them... not to see their photo (which can already be seen from the friendslist) or see their Steam name if it's registered... why would I need that...?
I know I can just press the little message icon besides it... but... it was WAY more efficient before...
I'm not really against the "Activity" section, but do get why it bothers people... especially when there's no activity... it's "no activity" picture is horrible and "noisy" to look at.
At the very least Discord... give us options... If I absolutly have to have tabs in my friendslist... let me collapse them for the love of any and everything that is holy...
And the activity section... let people hide it... it's not that hard.
Not a fan of the Nitro "tab" either, but I guess I get that... They need to earn money somehow, so can't really complain about that.... even though I don't like it making even more clutter...

new layout is disgusting. Discord please at least give us a choice here to collapse the offline friends.

Update on current design...
They've taken out the horrible looking picture, with no activity in the activity section, and I personally think it looks perfectly fine now...
Now it's just to get the friends list back to normal...

Agreed, this new design is crap. Changes for changes sake do nothing but anger people. This really needs rolled back to the way it was before this all started. Between this and longstanding bugs on the android app I question using discord anymore, as they don't seem to be listening.

I've never even seen the Activity section until this thread. :|a But yeah, I hate all of these changes, and especially with no way to toggle any of them off.

Clicking on your friends get's you to direct messages with them again...Thank you Discord...
Current design is fine by me :)
