I wake up one morning, panic ensues.



Discord, you're beautiful just the way you have always been. Your worries are better invested onto matters such as technical issues, network / software efficiency, and moderation against sketchy peeps.

I understand you want to surprise your user with some new dearly touchings on your already soothing look.

 

I am pleased with the new aspect of the message options UI, you look lovely.

 

Seeing the timestamp of each message has always been a wonder-wish of mine, I can see why the highlighting sounds convenient as a result, but it's not my cup of tea, as neither is the bar that comes along with it.

 

That's why I would like the freedom of choice to switch back to your former message format, including the separating lines, if you don't mind. Best regards and thank ya.

    I totally agree on that one... I'm not a fan of the new highlighting. I find it more distracting than anything else.

    This is a good take. The tone is much better than freaking out and screaming, but says what needs to be said about the new UI update. The new spacing, highlight on mouse over, and reaction bar are not to my taste, and I would very much prefer an opt-out option.

    You said a little with a whole lot. Discord, or anybody for that matter, will not consider what you are saying if your point is not made clear. It is okay to take a firm stance on something, especially if it means that you have a better chance of getting what you want and being understood.
