Counter-intuitive UI/Unnecessary UI Changes.

It seems that on every platform I use there's a UI Designer out there that can't let things stay put. It's become basic muscle memory at this point to access my profile by swiping open the channel list and tapping on my profile with my left thumb. Now I have to swipe it open with my left and then tap it with my right since it's on the right. Besides this having a chance of just closing it back, too much movement leads to a bit of an eyesore. A few updates back when the add media was split to two buttons of camera and add media was also confusing; and leading to the need of an extra selection to add media after typing a message. The friends list at the top of DMs was fine, as it was a small thing; why give it it's own spot on the bottom bar? Same with the broad search that I don't think I've ever had to use once. Along with the mentions that used to be limited to server which was honestly better separate rather than clumped together. It just feels like a bad attempt at streamlining that ultimately makes the process more clunky than it ought it to be.

    I am so glad I'm not the only one that thinks this... Don't fix what isn't broken!! If changes aren't needed? Then why do it?
    Personally as soon as this happened + with the mobile twitter changes recently too, it's been stressing me out. I have issues with navigating things that turn out messy or have a lot on the screen all at once due to issues with OCD and ADHD.

    I totally agree too, I'm really disappointed about the new UI. Before I took a look, left side channellist with highlightes, where eveythings new. Rights side the chat window (thats all I use).
    Now I have to swipe the whole day to take a look, if somethings new.

    I hope they change back that usability downgrad. (I'm happy to use it on two tablets and the other had not done the update, so I was able to save the APK and get rid of that bad new UI....)

    It physically hurts me to interact with the new UI. I'm not making this up. It's called a meltdown.
