live music channel

hey there, my idea is about solo musicians, DJ´s, home producer etc.

 

what about a live music channel where u can sit in with a headset or microphone while you´re making music on the pc, like reason or qbase. or simply if you are a dj and want to spin some vinyl and send the tune over the line in on your pc to the live music channel. the source of this is, we, my daughter and me, want to play some guitar for friends in sweden while we are all sitting in the channel, i only own a headset and this is not working well. i know its doable with a normal microphone, but if i want to send some live music with my musicstation then i am not able to send it to the channel via sounddevice and sitting in it and listening to it at the same time.

 

is there any interest in this, or for coder people, is this possible?

i really appreciate any response on this.

    Me and my friends were using discord stream for that. If you are sending a input of your guitar to some program that will then play it from PC outup (for example ableton) you can start streaming this application and people will hear the music when they turn on the stream.
    I dont know if this will fix your problem, its just an idea.

    hey there,.. sorry for the delay, i appreciate your help, when i do this what you mentioned, is it possible that i am in the channel as well ,. i think that is my main problem, i wanna send music and my voice through the channel. how do i set this in discord? i thought about, sending signal out of pc into mixer (2 channel, small one) also have to send voice signal into that mixer and then back into pc. is this what you mean, sry this is not my mainlanguage. thanx for your help
