    It doesn't make sense for them to spend time engineering something like that as  a.) it's a counter intuitive feature for the service that discord provides (sending messages and data back and forth between users), b.)you can already go back and edit or delete any direct message manually and c.) users need to be realistic about the level of data sensitivity in the files and messages that they transmit via discord. Breaches are a matter of when, not if, but you can mitigate your risk by not using discord to transmit data you feel is going to jeopardize your personal privacy in compromised. 

    If you go into Account>Settings> there are options to specifically address what you are requesting. I suggest looking at their Privacy Policy.

    If you wouldn't email it, then I wouldn't use a free service like discord for it.
